Anthony Cirino, DO, is an ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon with over 25 years of experience, at Cirino Eye Center, located in Brunswick, Ohio, and serving patients from all over northeast Ohio. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Cirino is a native of Northeast Ohio and a proud first-generation American. His father was born in Italy and his mother was born in Greece. He graduated from John Carroll University for his undergraduate studies in 1994, before graduating from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri, where he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998.
He then went on to serve a medical internship at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, where he also completed his ophthalmology residency in 2002. Dr. Cirino served as chief resident in his final year of residency.
He stays up to date with the latest advancements in his field. Dr. Cirino holds memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Ohio Ophthalmological Society. In addition, he has appeared in Cleveland Magazine’s list of Best Ophthalmologists from 2018-2020 and in Akron Life Magazine from 2017- 2020.
